Page Six reports:

Britney Spears and her man of the moment, photographer Adnan Ghalib, went to the chapel on Monday — were they going to get married?

A source close to Brit's ex-husband Kevin Federline tells PageSix.com it's not as far off as one might think. First, the source says that Britney called and let K-Fed know she was getting hitched. Later, Kev heard that one of Adnan's purposes in crossing the border with Brit after her hospitalization was to get a quickie divorce from wife AzLynn.

While California law doesn't recognize Mexican divorces, Britney has never been one to worry about the legality of her relationships — her secret wedding to Kevin wasn't official until she later filed for a marriage license. Additionally, Brit's been stepping out in a lot of white lace lately, over the weekend she even went as far as donning the dress from her wedding party with K-Fed.

A well-placed Adnan source casts doubts on the lenser's intentions, telling PageSix that he was living with wife AzLynn as recently as the end of November. Then again, the source claims that the arrangement between Adnan and his second wife is purely so that he could get a green card.

"They've never even hooked up," our spy says.

Regardless of Adnan's aim, Brit is the last person who needs to rush into a third marriage. That's why our source says Kevin is "flipped out" by what he's hearing, and is worried about Britney.

Yesterday Brit and Adnan were at Rite-Aid again. She needs a reality check. Her kids are more important then all these men coming and going.
