Childish Brights

As I was trekking it back home on the tube, I could have looked at the hipster-esque indie girl wearing a gingham dress with DM boots.  I could have been inspired by the velvet suit that a skinny guy was wearing (I wanted to feed him sandwiches).  Instead, I turned to the person who was making the loudest noise and despite that, she wasn't pissing me off.  It was a 4 year old child who had on the MOST number of colours I had ever seen worn at once in separates.  Something along the lines of a bright green hoody with a red and black rainjacket worn over it, turquoise corduroy trousers, lilac socks and pink T-bar shoes.  Now I'm pretty sure her parents, who looked like they were touristing around London weren't making a conscious effort to dress their child up in a plethora of colours but rather just threw on what was about.  That's all very well but I couldn't help but remark that if an adult was donned in that many colour clashing separates, they would get more than a few eyebrow raises.  I'll admit that there is a bit of an art/skill to colour co-ordination but increasingly, it's all just a little irrelevant depending on what exactly it is you're colour matching.  Indeed, why not try and wear all colours of the rainbow at one time.  If a child is not going to be laughed at for it, why should adults?  I ask that question with all seriousness because there is no logic to it other than supposed conventions of growing up and plain mean 'poke-fun-at-fashion' bitchiness.

Just for listing colours sake....
