Britney Spears was up to her usual antics on Thursday, allegedly speeding around Hollywood doing "upwards of 80 to 90 miles an hour."

The embattled singer started off her day of errands with the inevitable Starbucks run. Brit waited in the car while she dispatched her assistant, Carla, to pick up her Frappuccino.

Then the duo hit their favorite gas station where Britney, 26, picked up a 5-Hour Energy drink and then worked off some of the energy by peeling out of the parking lot and roaring down the street at high speeds.

"She was going, like, 90 down Sunset and on PCH (Pacific Coast Highway). She was going that fast for 15 to 20 minutes," an eyewitness tells PageSix.com, adding that one member of the paparazzi was arrested for trying to keep up.

"She was swerving and not paying attention to the cars in front of her. At one point she sort of stepped on her breaks really suddenly and you could hear the tires screeching. She’s not a very good driver."

Back at the Peninsula Hotel, the overcaffeinated pop star scraped the bottom of her Mercedes Benz while pulling up to the driveway. Then it was onto Hollywood’s Virgin Megastore without a hint of irony.
