As much as I like inhaling the fumes of freshly made plastic goods, the tag 'Made in China' doesn't fill me with enthusiasm. Made OF China however is a whole different story... In fact, I think this is the first time I have encountered ceramic jewellery and at the Urbis [1] centre in Manchester (where I am this weekend...) is where I came across these bone china teacup bracelets by Abigail Mary-Rose Clerk. Adorned with ribbons, painted flowers, trinkets and slinky bit of silver, they're probably more ornate than your average tea cup... Made in China? Made of China? I think I know which one to opt for if I'm feeling extra careful and non clutzy...
