Mariah Carey loves British men.
The 'Touch My Body' singer - who is divorced from record executive Tommy
Mottola - prefers the "suaveness" of UK men, and revealed an unlikely crush.
She told Britain's New! magazine: "I adore British men - and I rather fancy
Prince Charles. He is suave, educated and is a great role model."
Mariah has been romantically linked to Latino singer Luis Miguel and
baseball player Derek Jeter.
Mariah recently revealed she finds it hard to trust men, because she doesn't
know who is genuine and who just wants to be part of the Mariah circus.
She said: "You don't know who is here for the glamour, for the gossip
factor. You really just want to know that somebody loves you for you.
Sometimes you feel like an ATM machine with a wig on it."
Mariah Carey has revealed the secrets of the diet and work-out regime she says has got her in the best shape of her life. She showed US chatshow host Oprah Winfrey how a French diet and fitness guru has helped her shed unwanted pounds. Mariah invited Oprah's cameras to film her punishing work-out routine with trainer Patricia as she went through stretches and exercised in a pool. She also gave the show access to the kitchen at her luxury New York apartment to see where her healthy meals are prepared.
Now after losing a reported 30lbs - couldn't be happier now she is the same weight as when she was 16.
She said: "My jean size went down to my 10th grade size. I got tired of
people telling me, 'You need to lose weight.' That's what inspired me.
"For me, it's not about a number on a scale. It's not about necessarily even
a size. It's about feeling good and being comfortable in your own skin.
Right now, I feel really great. I feel better than I've ever felt."
Mariah also revealed she found it most difficult to give up her favorite
meal, macaroni and cheese.
She added to talk show host Oprah Winfrey: "It broke my heart. That's
the thing that I have difficulty letting go of because that's comfort food.
So basically I'm uncomfortable."
She used to eat buttery popcorn all the time.
