>>London is getting temperatures up to about 17 degrees celcius today and people are still walking around in puffa jackets, gloves AND scarves, big wooly coats and doing the 'Brrr.... I'm freezing!' thing with their shoulders hunched and hands in pockets.  I want to go up to these people and shake their shoulders and wave a thermometer in their faces and say 'It's 3/4 length sleeve cotton/jersey dress weather without the need for tights with maybe a light silk scarf for jaunty decoration, not for actually keeping-warm!'. 

Pity this very mini-mini spring wave is going to be short lived [3] but I'm treasuring these few bare-legged hours as quite frankly, my tights drawer is making me want to heave and boots are starting to feel claustrophobic.
