Dirty Bag

Mulbgap1 Mulbgap2 Last weekend, whilst I was riffling through Lanvin shoes, dresses and skirts and being admonished for not putting my selected items into the IKEA-like plastic sacks (is it me or does being told off in French sting JUST that little bit more....?), my boyfriend was sloping/sneaking around Colette.  He did read my blog beforehand and saw my post about my yearning for the special Gap product Mulberry Roxanne in grey jersey.  I explained to him that it's 'grey jersey which is like my near-100% match if I was to ever take compatability tests with fabrics... (He said his match would be white good quality cotton... together we can make a tasteful John Lewis catalogue shoot...!)'.

I completely forgot about the bag as I was deciding whether I needed a 38 or a 39 in Lanvin shoes but when I met back up with him laden with bags outside Palais Royal, he had a cheeky Colette bag with him too.  He bought the Gap Mulberry Roxanne bag for me however not in that sugar daddy way (I have a real problem with boyfs constantly gifting their girlfs with IT-bags and the like...) but because he genuinely thought it was a no frills bag that was actually nice and was very 'me' in the sense that it was low-key and a little naive.  Now, I haven't been using anything else!  Seeing I'm not precious with my bags, I tend to batter them around a bit and this one has taken a bit of a battering what with the wind, the rain and flinging it about on wet basins in toilets.  Thanks to the boyf, I'm well on my way to getting a nicely soiled and lovingly dirty jersey bag that somewhat resembles an ex-IT bag shape.
