The January just got longer...

Sunday newspaper reading should be read with languid laziness with time to sift through the secions slowly and going back to things at a leisurely pace.   Mid-way through reading today's Observer Woman magazine though, I started excitedly pointing out to my boyf 'Oooh... look it's the new Christopher Kane for Topshop stuff....and I spy some famliar Jonathan Saunders gradiated print there....!'.  To which, he duly nodded and said 'Nice, very nice' as if I was a hyperactive child who was pointing out something particularly exciting in the Argos catalogue.  So it is now confirmed that the month just got a bit longer because I also spy a bit of a price mark-up with regards to these Topshop designer collaborations.  *grumble grumble*  I guess it's to be expected.  But wanting is wanting and though I bought the Christopher Kane for Topshop grey pleated dress the first time round, I'm fancying CKTS round two in the form of this grey bodice front dress, and if it comes in a different colour way, me wants too.  There's a slightly harder edge to the pieces this time with the lace-up and leather details.

Christopher Kane for Topshop grey bodice front dress: £85

Christopher Kane for Topshop leather hooded jacket: £250, black skirt with leather bodice belt: £95

The Richard Nicoll dress is not tickling my fancy but I'm sure one of his shirt interpretations will pop up which solve the problem of having to replace my favourite Jens Laugesen one (stupid Biro marks...).  Predictably lovely is what the Jonathan Saunders dress is... so again, count me in for one of those.

Richard Nicoll for Topshop olive ruffle dress: £75, Jonathan Saunders for Topshop black dress with red fade panel: £75

I'm not sure how I can bear the rest of the Topshop designer collaborations trickling through.... I'm really not sure...
