Will Young "feels like a man" after putting on weight.

The 'Grace' singer has piled on the pounds after over-indulging on his
favorite treats and alcohol but is reluctant to diet because he enjoys
eating and drinking too much.

He said: "I look bigger than I used to but I feel like a man so I quite like
it. I'd like to lose a bit off my tummy but that would mean I'd have to stop
drinking beer.

"Maybe I could eat less but I'm not very good at that either
so I'm a bit of a c**p pop star in that sense."

Despite enjoying consuming alcohol, Will says he is conscious of how much he
drinks because there is a history of alcoholism in his family.

He added: "I drink far too much. I don't have a problem but I do have to
keep an eye on it because alcoholism runs in my family. I always check in
that I'm not too dependent on it and take a week out.

"I'm actually quite shy so I need a drink sometimes to settle me before I go
to a party.

"There was a time when I had to have a drink to get beyond the attention
thing otherwise I'd freak out."
