Oh, and thank you for everybody's recent 'cage-watching for Susie' antics. Even the supposedly 'safe' New York threw up some edgy cages for some serious eye candy at the debut Savant S/S 09 show.  Feng Feng Yeh is probably someone I should be familiar with as she has some impressive downtown cool credentials.  Except of course, I'm neither downtown nor cool so there goes that theory.  Her chum/mentor Benjamin Cho (he may dislike blogs but I still love him and his clothes...) urged Feng-Feng to branch out on her own to start Savant and good advice indeed... behold...the perfect pink elastic caged skirt, non?

I believe Feng Feng is part of the Six Six Sick gang who hold weekly parties at Happy Ending in New York coinciding with their weekly dress-ups that really do demonstrate that desire for high fashion doesn't conclude with yanking out the credit card.  I'm also chuffed that their sole link on their new-ish blog is Style Bubble.  I've only started ogling their MySpace pics and already I'm thinking why the heck didin't I make it down to Happy Ending when I was in New York.  Oh yeah, that's right....I'm neither downtown or cool.... doh!  Back to ironing and making spag bol at home...
