Mischa Barton has dumped her boyfriend Taylor Locke.

‘The O.C.’ actress reportedly called time on her relationship with the
Rooney guitarist shortly after they returned home from a three-week safari
and charity trip to Africa.

A source said: “They fought almost every day on the trip. She broke up with
him just a few days after they returned to L.A..”

Mischa, 22, and Taylor, 24, had been dating for about six months, but were
not used to spending so much time together due to their hectic work
schedules.

The source added to In Touch Weekly magazine: “Mischa and Taylor’s romance
worked because they spent so much time apart. He’d be on tour or she’d be
working in Europe and they talked over the phone or by email.

“They’d only see each other for a few days at a time.”

The actress has previously revealed she would never date an actor, and
prefers romancing men not involved in the movie industry.

She said: “I would rather date outside of the industry. I think actors are a
special breed, it takes a specific personality to be an actor - there needs
to be some kind of balance."
