A rock with a strange carving that was found in 2004 near Roswell in America the site of one of the most famous UFO sitings. Crop circle expert Colin Andrews has now matched the design to a crop circle in found in Wiltshire, UK in 1996. Scientific experts were baffled after a carved stone discovered near UFO hot spot Roswell was found to bear an identical pattern to a crop circle in the UK. Businessman Robert Ridge, 50, found the inscribed rock on a hunting trip in 2004, just miles from the spot where an alien spacecraft is believed to have crash-landed in 1947. And when the stone, which is made from rare red iron ore rock, was shown to scientific experts they couldn’t explain its construction and found strange magnetic properties. Measuring just under two inches across and weighing 40g, the oval tablet has caused a sensation in America where many people believe it to be of extra-terrestrial origin.
