It does feel a little odd that from September onwards, talking about Topshop isn't going to be resulting in moans of 'But I don't have a Topshop near me...' seeing as they're aiming with worldwide domination, starting with the ma-hussive New York store (the opening will be a sight to see... will be planning on going just to be highly amused...).

So, us Brit bloggers posting about Topshop stuff isn't completely irrelevant to the rest of the world.  Anyhow, the campaign images for the AW08 stuff have come out (nice of them to use the old tubes...) and the only thing that is really catching my eye are these Emma Cook for Topshop boots.  I'm hoping the forthcoming collaboration also includes clothes too as I was quite delighted with her AW08-9 stunning comeback collection.  Nonetheless, despite everyone harping on about spindly elegant spiky shoes for the next season, a pair of PERFECT chunky boots will always be keep me happy...

£150 for the booties is a lotta dough but in the same way that Preen sold the exact shoes they did on their runway for AW07 and SS08 in Topshop, I'm treating these as a designer buy that will enable me to trek through the...erm... dangerous climes of London...
