Item 1) Why am I NOT feeling the cold wearing some heat tech, a Natascha Stolle for ASOS jacket, a Mary Katrantzou dress over vintage polka dot trews and my creepers...?  

Because this snow is lush, white, fluffy and incredibly satisfying to walk through.

If this was meh-London-grey-sludgey snow, I'd be freezing my tits off and walking around with a scowl.

Seriously though, why is it I'm NOT feeling the cold here?  Even falling down a couple of times left me with a smile on my face.  

I've been trawling through my inbox answering email interviews for mags
and dissertations which is cause for reflection with regards to the
blog.  I also had a bit of a storming argument with Style Salvage Steve this morning
about my inability to use the DSLR camera properly and he said
something that has given me even more cause to ponder: "Everyone's
pictures are SO bloody good!".  By everyone, he's referring to the blogosphere
which is a skewed vision in any case but hey, in a blogger couple
house, 'everyone' refers to an RSS feed.  The 'good' of course is due to a combination of the following... their DSLR's, their 50mm
lenses, their patient photographers slash boyfriends, their amazing
tripod/remote wielding skills, their beautiful settings, hair and
make-up consideration and of course, the subjects themselves, their eye for perfect composition,
judgement of light and all of that. 

>> This is a collage that really couldn't have happened without London Fashion Week, or rather, the Christopher Kane for Topshop collection coinciding with LFW.  Phil of Streetpeeper peeped these guys and gals wearing an array of Christopher Kane t-shirts, both mainline and Topshop collections so you get a nice mix of gorillas and crocs.  Then he bunged them in the jungle here...

I don't usually reduce myself to using internet acronyms in a post but... LOLZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZ...

That's not laughter at the tees or the people wearing them of course, but it's just the assembling of them all together in one happy jungle that is giving me the chuckles...

I've perfected 60wpm typing speed on Crackberry which means I'm able to blog en route to JFK airport, watching Manhattan get smaller and smaller. It's been a bit of a draining week and if you see me around London, I'll be sporting some fetching black shadows around my eyes.

So the deets have coming through in large spurts but in all honesty what with me reverting back to the shitty digicam for the week, the number of pics have been greatly reduced and thus have to be grouped this way.

My second season in New York has culminated with two things really...a newfound appreciation for simplicity and my belief that finally PRs get the whole blogging thang (judging by blogger turnout at fashion week - met so many that I've lost count)...at least in New York, Paris is a whole different kettle of fish...
