Bubble Cam/Streetstyle

Getting to know Sara Arnold...

I’m not a style-stalking type of person but if someone really catches my eye then I’m going to hunt him/her down and hassle them like a mad woman.  Or in this particular case, it involved a bit of Facebook stalking (guff… by the by, no point in stalking my Facebook as it’s so inactive and mouldy, I might as well delete it…) and a bit of smart detective work.  Previously Sara Arnold was just the really cool girl who I had seen working at Dover Street Market and out and about in and around Old Street.  Of course, coming up to her in person would have been all too embarrassing for me so naturally I hid behind the protective internet screens and asked her to compile a seven day style diary for Style Bubble.

Shockingly, she very kindly said yes and also agreed to answer some questions…

Demode-ing it up....

Brit Fay? No Brooklyn Fay...

Fayleshsart

The first of the Sart's London photos have started to emerge and this girl seems to be making waves on the commentary front (though it does comprise of the usual toshy 'Oh, she's nothing special...', 'I just don't get it...' malarky that really ticks me off about the Sartorialist...).

The BFH loves the camera...

Those Frenchies are really putting me to shame as the trio of Punky B, Garance Doré (whose streetstyle pics have upped a level me thinks...) and Géraldine (of Café Mode) were out and about with their super professional cameras and having the elegant politeness to ask people if they can snap their outfit (er...not to mention the language skills of course as they all speak English and French impeccably.... darn being trilingual in the wrong bloody languages...).  Me... er... well...my Hyères coverage is slow and laboured... and yes, there were a few beach sessions and long fruit de mer lunches involved...

SS08-ing in Hyeres

This is rather hasty but I'm finding my time is not mine whilst I'm out here so if you can put up with the shoddiness for a few more days, that would be much appreciated.  With The Sart (need I hyperlink?  I think not...) roaming around Hyeres and an even bigger fash crowd about this year, it's no wonder that the fash stakes have gone up.  Cafe Mode has already started to capture the best of the streetstyle here, as the lovely Geraldine is also out and about (I have a hard time asking people for their photo in English let alone in terrible French...).

However, I will make some very quickie post-it observations...

...a stronger abundance of Topshop seeing as they have started to ship to Europe...
