London Blah Blah Blah

Taking the Time Out

Susie014 The chronology on this blog will seem confusing to those that are either following fashion weeks intensely or have already seen this Time Out piece which came out last week in the London edition.  It's the blogger's time lag.... or blag....?  Actually that reminds me too much of an odious term that was circulating at London Fashion Week (blogger + ligger = bligger... I'd check up on UrbDict if you're not sure what ligger is...).  So anyway, it's just my tardy posting.  But hey like I said, the season doesn't end on March 11th and in fact it's all only just begun so there is obviously muchy muchy more to come.

Let the MAAAAAAA Action Begin

My coverage of the London College of Fashion MA show on Thursday, is a little on the late side but I did treat myself to a non-wifi environment for the weekend as well as hopping it along to Stockholm for their fashion week (Dagmar show starting in about....twenty minutes... ).  I have just about enough time to bring you ramshackled collages and condensed thoughts.  Seeing as there is however a fair amount of information on most of the students (though sadly not on the ones I rated the most...) on the students' LCF profile pages, I'd advise you to do a bit of clickety click click to get any actual CONCRETE information...

It's Been Too Long

Where will Londoners and surrounding UK peeps be on February 6th?  Will I be seeing you at a certain familiar location in the weird and random depths of Wembley per chance?  Yes it is that time again..

Blossoming Feet

>> Liberty has really been mining its print heritage what with all the Prints Charming shenanigans last year and now for spring summer 2010, they're using Flower Power to their advantage with many a collaboration on it way with Liberty of London's collab with Milan's 10 Corso Como already underway.

I'm most excited to have nabbed a sneak peek of an upcoming marriage between Liberty Art Fabrics and.... Nicholas Kirkwood... as if I needed to even type that out because the shape here is plain to see and pretty much instantly recognisable.
