Jennifer Lopez Spent Over a Million To Give Birth

Jennifer Lopez reportedly spent a staggering $1.4 million on giving birth.

The 'Do It Well' singer paid $700,000 to reserve a luxurious birthing suite
at Long Island's North Shore University Hospital, where she delivered her
twins on February 22.

The $175,000-a-week suite - which included brown leather couches, a large
Apple computer monitor, two plasma screen TVs, wooden flooring and a private
kitchen - was also reserved by Jennifer and husband Marc Anthony three weeks
before the star's due date.

Jennifer and Marc also paid $300,000 for private doctors and nurses,
$300,000 on security and a further $100,000 on personal assistants before
the birth.

Sources close to the couple also claim they have named the twins, a boy and
a girl, Maximiano and Emelina.

A family insider told In Touch magazine: "Jennifer is doing so well but we
have gone through a lot of tissues. Everyone is crying many tears of joy."

JLo’s Unborn Twins Worth $6 Million - Highest Ever

Pregnant Jennifer Lopez and Marc Anthony is set to receive a record $6 million for the first pictures of their twins.

The 'Do It Well' singer - who is rumored to be due on February 23 - has reportedly secured the highest price ever paid for celebrity baby photos following a deal with People magazine.

The staggering sum will be shared with OK! magazine, who will print the pictures in their 15 international editions.

A spokesperson for the OK! magazine said: "It is fantastic for these international markets, and especially important with the immense strength the exclusive will bring to the new launch of OK! Spain."

Christina Aguilera is said to have received $1.5 million for posing with newborn son Max Liron Bratman on the cover of People magazine, while Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie received $4 million for pictures of their biological daughter Shiloh.

That's so crazy!

Twins For Jennifer Lopez

Jennifer Lopez's father has confirmed the star is expecting twins.

The 'Do It Well' singer - who is married to singer Marc Anthony and is due
to give birth this month – will follow in her aunt's footsteps by having two
babies at once.

David Lopez told Escándalo TV: "Yes, twins. The thing is in my family, my
sister also had twins, so it's a hereditary thing.

"I'm very proud. Jennifer has yearned to be a mother for many years."

David, who comes from Puerto Rico, has already bought traditional gifts for
his unborn grandchildren.

He said: "In Puerto Rico it's custom to buy an azabache (black stone)
bracelet for babies to protect them from the evil eye, it's part of our
culture."
