Comfy feet

When people ask me 'How do I walk in those?' when referring to the bunch of heels that I buy because of instant lust, I have to admit that I wear them occasionally when I know that a taxi, flats in the bag and not too much walking will be involved.  If it comes to heels that stand the wear and tear of all-day, everyday walking, there are only a handful in my wardrobe that qualify.  I'm not deluded either.  I actually knowingly buy heels with the thoughts of 'I will only wear these a handful of times but I can't resist because they're oh-so pretty...' running through my head.  It's usually pretty clear to me whether shoes are made for walking or teetering.  Marcello Toshi's shoes however look very much like they're made for walking.  I haven't even seen them in person as they seem to only be stocked in the States and Japan but the AW08 lookbook is sending that vibe out to me and I just know that these are the sort of heels that you can walk, walk and walk on in...

Despite the non-European presence, me thinks the Chie Mihara vibe of these shoes (a brand that is a walker, not a teeterer...) is worth investigating into because whilst I lose my head sometimes when it comes to pretty shoes, sometimes I do need to do that thing called walking...
