Britney Spears has been involved in another car accident.

The ‘Oops... I Did It Again!’ singer rear-ended a red Ford Explorer in Beverly Hills yesterday afternoon (05/13/08).

A witness said: "I think she was just distracted. She just tapped the other car in front of her."

Britney, 26, was driving her white Mercedes-Benz SL65 on Sunset Boulevard, Los Angeles.

Her bodyguard got out and handed the other driver his business card before they drove back to the star’s home to exchange details in private.

No one was injured in the incident.

This is not the first of Britney’s motoring mishaps.

Last month, the singer hit a Nissan from behind, forcing it into another vehicle.

A hit-and-run charge from August last year was dismissed after Britney, who clipped another vehicle as she was pulling out of a car park space, paid an undisclosed amount to the car owner.

In 2006, Britney sparked controversy when she was photographed driving with her son Sean Preston on her lap.
