CNN's Richard Quest has been arrested for having drugs on him in Central Park - where he was found with a sex toy on him and a rope tied around his genitals. Quirky Quest - a British reporter who started his career with the BBC - was arrested after police saw him with another man at 3:40am when the famous New York park was closed.

Officers say they found him with a rope around his neck that was tied to his genitals, which did not lead to charges because he was not exposing himself. They say he also had a sex toy that he kept in his boots.

The anchor, who has his own CNN show 'Quest', then admitted to cops:

"I've got some meth in my pocket".

Quest, 46, was charged with loitering and criminal possession of a controlled substance. He agreed to undergo six months of drug counseling in return for an "adjournment in contemplation of dismissal".

He was released with no bail after spending most of the day behind bars. Quest declined comment, as did a CNN spokeswoman.
