The ever-lovely and on-the-ball Diane Pernet got there before me but I don't mind being a posty-copy-cat especially when it concerns Sandra Backlund's AW08-9 collection in a palette that is a bit bruised and quite a bit darker.  If you read the story behind the collection 'Last Breath Bruises', it does make it all the more poignant and I think Annika Aschberg's photography has captured the mood behind the creation of the collection. 

Oh, and I'm making it a lifelong ambition to get a snap of me wearing one of Backlund's unique knitted creations.  I'm thinking a cheap Ryanair ticket to Stockholm and me cajoling Sandra at her studio with some Cadbury's giant bars might do the trick...
