Yesterday's Tactile Experiences post had a very crucial omission that many commentors pointed out and I was actually slapping my forehead going 'Doh!' because I am absolutely 100% into the combo of knitwear and lingerie worn together for lounging purposes at home with a plate of green tea cookies and apple tea at hand, and a pile of old 10 magazines (the only ones that I like to re-read).  Gentleman, forgive me as I don't usually indulge in superfluously girly-girly posts that men will definitely zone out to (unless the boyf is reading and needs to pick up on cliched lingerie gift ideas....). 

Boboutic is an Italian knitwear that has come together though Michel Bergamo's knitwear design expertise, Cristina Zamagni's creative experience as a architect/photographer and both their life experiences.  They take everyday life and inject that into their knitwear that still holds up in terms of precise finishing and traditional knitting techniques.  Their SS08 collection is loose, louche, cool, comfy and all of what anyone would expect from their loungewear, and more so that of course these pieces can be worn outdoors.  Summer knits are still something that need to be pushed as not everyone is convinced despite the growing number of labels such as Boboutic, Weardowney, Louise Goldin (could blah on...) doing spring summer collections beautifully.  However, selfish me prefers reserving some labels for the eyes of my apartment only.  There's just something very nice about having clothes in the wardrobe that is reserved for me-me-me time.   

Underneath to contrast with the woolen textures, it's something a tad more predictable and yes, I realise I'm a little late and I know I shouldn't be sold into Stella McCartney's bid for world domination (the woman wants 6 stores in India...) but her lingerie line with its organic cotton, silk chiffons and georgette fabric choices and the pretty creamy colour palette has me a little goo goo eyed.  The names like Coco Blushing, Daisy Dreaming and Sandy Stripping  are annoyingly endearing and yes, I've got my eye on a Jessica Bathing bra and brief set on  NAP...
