True to my word, I did pop into Selfridges to pick up my intended choice of Osman Yousefzada for Mango dress and thank god there hasn't been that mad rush.  I found out a) the prices are in fact ALL £50 and under and b) there's a few more styles that aren't on the website and though hard to describe (and you'll just have to take my word for it) equally impressive - we're talking one-shoulders, more basic LBD's and a blue V-shaped trim across a dress. 

But I just honed in on the one I always wanted and since I'm slowly taking wee baby steps towards realising the necessity of leaving things well alone when the right garment pops up, this was one of those occasions when the dress says a lot without needing much done to it. 

Of course, that didn't last too long as I 'effed it all up today with some mad leggings and a lot of fuschia.  Did I not say baby steps?
