Put some boing back into your life!

I had quite a few options when working out the Gucci event outfit conundrum and House of Boing’s dress hire options did entice me because I have noted in the past that their creations are the sort that have life and motion in them.  The fabric lattice work is still ‘bouncing’ about in their latest outfits and the prices of the items are definitely swaying me to buy as opposed to renting the outfit, in order to have the pleasure of keeping a ‘boing boing’ skirt in the wardrobe lest I feel like injecting some life into an outfit at any given time.  They have also introduced a concertina folding technique into the tops which have me thinking of my paper craft projects when I was five (that meant me wasting a tree’s worth of fax paper and getting slapped on the wrist for it....).  But it’s the crinolined puffy sleeves and two tone bouncy bouncy skirts that have got me hankering for a visit to Sandra Bamminger’s studio in Brixton for a rummage around her collection of wonderful animated clothes.

The two toned underskirt here is calling out to me, to be stick under SO many outfits.  I'm wondering if they make a rustling noise as they move because that really would be a bonus.

The pale pink creation on the left seems to have reined in 'ballerina' making this a highly wearable bit of tulle frou frou.

I'm all set to wear this entire ensemble to any sort of a afternoon tea event.  It's really ripe for sitting down in a dramatic fashion.
